Population gradient? I really like the variety of people at the university. Walking the halls during class change allows you to mingle with a really fascinating mix of people. Especially in throughfares from one complex to the next when it's -40 with the windchill. One of the more entertaining population gradients is from Earth Science to the Engineering building through the IT building. There's about a 50/50 mix of guys and girls in the Earth Science building. and closer to an 80/20 mix in engineering with IT somewhere in the middle. So, by the time you reach the engineering doors, the groups standing to the side or in the middle of the halls are all guys. It's no wonder 'geers are traditionally social rejects, they have no one to practice on. |
