You don't really need knives and forks So, it turns out the roommate-leaving situation isn't as dire as I predicted. She is still taking all plates, glasses and cutlery, but she's leaving the pots and pans, the TVs, the kitchen table and possibly the lamps. Luckily for us, I'm going home over Christmas and have all my kitchen things stored there. The third roommate will only be without cutlery for a week or so and she says she'll be just fine. There is still, of course, the matter of finding a new roommate but we've got a candidate who might just move in and take up where the girl moving to Calgary left off. I'd prefer that, because she could pay the bills and nothing would change for me. If not, we'll have to find someone. *sigh* Ah well, we'll manage. On the bright side, I've only got two exams left. One at 1 today and one at 8 tomorrow morning. Then I'll be a busy beaver for the rest of Friday and leave for Calgary bright and early Saturday morning. I'm excited to see my family, and the boy, and my friends...but I'm not excited about the cold. It's warm (read: hovering around zero Celcius) there now though, so maybe it'll last until at least until the end of the weekend and I can ease into it. |
