Not such a bad Tuesday after all I went to my first dance class tonight. So much fun! The title is Hip Latin dance. It's an awesome workout, and totally good for my aerobic health. I feel more stretched and limber than I have in months, possibly years. Definitely it was the best part of my day. I'm glad the lessons are on Tuesdays, because I really hate my school schedule on those days. Five hours of class in a row, four of them in the same room with the same teacher. Four hours of the same chair, trying to see past the same overhead projector. And, except for the last class of the day, all my least favourite classes are today. And, to top off this Tuesday, it started raining again. The forcast calls for rain until Thanksgiving at least. Boo to that. However, I'm mainly ahead in my classwork, or I was until today when several more assignments got loaded on. The work isn't as hard as university, but there's way more of it. And way more exams too. I've got three in a row immediately after I get back from Saskatchewan. I'm going to have to be proactive and start studying for them well ahead of time. Unheard of, for me. I had the best stir-fry for supper tonight, with loads of veggies. The new recipe book I got tells me to use italian salad dressing instead of oil and seasonings. So easy, and so yummy! I guess I feel I'm fitting in here a bit more than I was. It feels more like home. I'm still looking forward to going home at Christmas, but I'm not clinging to it. I do wish it was easier to get around, but I suppose I'll get used to that too, in time. This has been a bit random, but it's my journal, so there! Nyah nyah nyah. |
