Too many socks? I got a bunch of my christmas shopping yesterday. That's always a good feeling. This year, now that we've got my sister's fiancee celebrating with us, there are five stockings on the mantle. This makes for a lot of stocking gifts, should one or two people be responsible for filling them all. Our new plan is to have everyone buy two stocking stuffers for each stocking. That's eight per person, to buy and to receive. Seems good to me. So, yesterday I bought seven out of my eight in just under an hour. That's record time, I think. I just need one more for my dad. He's always hard to buy for, especially little things like stocking stuffers. The man just doesn't need (or want, for that matter) anything except big gifts. Like a lawn tractor, or a snow blower. Just try fitting one of those in a stocking! I'll think of something though. A pair of socks maybe. He can put a hole in a sock in less than a month, it's really quite the phenomenon. Plus, no one can have too many socks. It's physically impossible. |
