Baby steps I just filled out my "Application for Degree/Diploma" form. I'll take it to the registrar's office at lunch today, or maybe tomorrow. Baby steps, baby steps. Don't want to rush the graduation process too much. It's important to tell the world you plan on graduating well before the actual date. It allows them, and you, some time to get used to the idea. When I try to imagine myself as a non-student, I always hit some sort of block. I have a good imagination, but everyone has their limits I suppose. Maybe that's why I'm trying to prolong it by applying at a new school. I'm sure it's part of my motivation, but I like to think other factors work into it, like furthering my job prospects. The radio is playing music that features a bagpipe and an east indian singer. It's a very interesting combination. I was talking with a coworker yesterday about the evils of feed lots, or ILOs as they're called in the buisiness, and I remembered something my geography prof found for us. I think it's worthy of posting here: It's cute and it makes you think. Well, it made me think, anyway. |
