The List Bloody ants. You can't eat outside on the grass without being covered. I had one make it at far as my knee before I could manage to deal with it. When I was younger, I used to talk about "my list". It was a mental list of things to do and places to see. It used to reassure me that I would be able to go out and see the world eventually, even if right now I was stuck in high school in small-ish town Alberta. I haven't mentioned, or thought about, it in quite some time. It was a hot air balloon in the sky that reminded me. I think I'm going to put it in writing, all of it I can remember anyway, so as not to forget again. I worry a little that having a concrete record will come back to bite me, showing me all I failed to accomplish in my youth, but maybe it'll spur me into action, who knows. So, without further ado...the list.
I think many of those are perfectly attainable, and most of them could be done even once I've been "tied down" by a family and children. Ah dreams...my world would be awfully boring without them. |
